Zusammenfassung
This paper intends to present the preliminary study and the long-term conservation works carried out on the metallic artifacts after their excavation. The diagnosis of the pathologies found in the objects was performed with the support of elemental and molecular composition analysis as well as with the analysis of the soil. This allowed to document some corrosion products which are infrequently mentioned in scientific literature. lt has also enabled us to optimize the interventions carried out and to expand the knowledge of corrosion processes taking place in this type of deposits. Furthermore, the study of the results obtained along with the support of documentary sources reveal va lu able technologica l information on the manufacture of the objects.
