Résumé
This study intends to analyze the relation among the social status, the self-esteem and the academic performance, according to the gender and the age. For such analysis, 102 students of Primary Education (aged between 8 and 12) have participated, all of them students of the same school situated in the Basque Country. To this end, the social status, self-esteem levels and academic performance are valued, through: Test Sociométrico, A-EP: Cuestionario para la evaluación de la autoestima en Educación Primaria and a scale. In conclusion, in accordance with the literature, the results showed that the social status, the selfesteem and the academic performance were related among them. However, the differences in function of sex and the school year were not significant.
