Los "critical management studies" y el cuestionamiento del control cultural en la empresa

Résumé
The current of thought known as CMS −Critical Management Studies− can be understood as a “fifth wave” of vigorous debate usually known as Labour Process Theory, which began with Harry Braverman´s Labor and Monopoly Capital, in 1975. Still little known in the Spanish-speaking academia, in this paper we present the most significant elaborations of said stream on the specific issue of corporate culture, a central issue in the CMS to the point that they have been considered “cultural studies” of the company. In the text we aim to define the most defining features of the “Critical Management Studies”, leaving proof of its clearly criticalemancipatory goal from the consideration of subjectivity, whereas this element identifies the totalitarian nature of the cultural management in organizations as a social technology devoted to the management of emotions and identities.
