Abstract

The Valsequillo granite is situated in the Peraleda de Zaucejo antiform (Obejo-Valsequillo-Puebla de la Reina Domain) at the northern Ossa-Morena Zone. This antiform is defined by Armorican Quartzite and Devonian rocks. Beneath this rocks there are arkosic conglomerates from Tremadoc. Tremadoc rocks are discordant, over Malcocinado poligenics conglomerates. Malcocinado conglomerates containt decimetric pebbes of Valsequillo granite and dioritoids. The Valsequillo granite is a subvolcanic igneous bodie intruded into dioritoids and pelitic series and contact metamorphisme generates. A brittle trhust overline dioritoids and Valsequillo granite over devonian rocks with a transcurrent senestral component
