Résumé

The MacArthur-Bates Communicative Development Inventories measure children's communicative development between 8 and 30 months of age. This instrument has been adapted to many languages, so it is a useful tool for cross-linguistics comparisons. The paper reports the results of adapting the main scales of the Inventories to Basque, together with their reliability and validity. These results provide evidence of the scales' high internal consistency, the scores stability over time, and their predictive value.
