Zusammenfassung

Pluralistic Ignorance is conceived of as the process by which all the people share a false vision of the reality, attributing incorrectly a dominant attitude to the population (i.e. dominant anti gipsy attitude), reinforcing the maintenance of cultural norms and behaviors- norms and attituds rejected by the majority privately. A survey about the personal attitude and the general attitude over the gipsys carried out in the Basque Country (N=120) confirms this Pluralistic Ignorance vis-á-vis the anti-gipsy prejudice. The Pluralistic Ignorance is asociated with the False Unicity or Control of Illusion and also with the perceived homogeneity on the population of anti-gipsy attitude. Is also confirmated that Pluralistic Ignorance produces an effect of estrangement or a sensation of Cultural Desviation. However neither the internal causal attribution nor the inhibition of pro-gipsys's behavior are related with the Pluralistc Ignorance.
